ABOUT US

Santa Barbara Ceu's provides an enriched learning environment that helps Certified Nursing Assistants and Home health Aides maintain their certification. We offer many opportunities to obtain continuing education  credits and increase your knowledge base. Certifications must be renewed every two years and in order to comply with regulations CNA/HHA's must complete 48 hours of continuing education. We offer classroom in-services to meet that requirement.

Meet Cami

Cami Bonavita MSN, RN has worked as a nurse for over ten years. She specializes in geriatric and end of life care but is well versed on all subjects related to exceptional patient care.  She provides education for CNA's in a facility setting  and is excited to now offer more classes to certified care givers in the  community.  Your time is valuable and  you don't always have time to drive to other cities to obtain CEU's. Santa Barbara CEU's offers classes for adult learners who need a flexible learning environment to obtain continuing education credits.  Classes are offered on Saturdays to accommodate your busy schedule. Click on sign up for CEU'S , to see classes available.

FAQS

WHERE ARE CLASSES HELD?

Classes may be held at multiple locations. To find the current location sign up for courses under the "book here" tab.  Be sure to arrive 10-15 minutes early to find a parking spot and check in. No credit will be given for late arrivals. No refunds on late arrivals. Classes must be cancelled 24 hours prior to class, or you will be charged for all classes.

HOW MUCH ARE CLASSES?

See booking page for prices. Classes are typically 10$ per CEU. Payment can be made online or in person. 

HOW MANY CLASSES CAN I TAKE IN ONE DAY?

4-5 classes depending on how many classes are scheduled that day. Most classes are offered one Saturday morning per month from 8am-12pm.

HOW LONG IS EACH CLASS?

Classes are one hour in length. You must be present for the entire class to obtain credit. 1 CEU offered for every one hour course.  Certificate will be provided after  class.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Please make sure you bring :

  • Proof of current CNA and/or HHA certification

  • A valid government issued ID​

  • Water and snacks

  • Pen or Pencil
